On 16th September 2026, College organized a programme to mark World Ozone Day under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). The programme was organized around the theme, “Global action for a cooler planet – Celebrating 10 years of sustainable cooling under the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol”.

The programme aimed to create awareness among the students about ozone layer protection, sustainable cooling practices and the importance of collective action for environmental conservation. A documentary on the ozone layer and environmental protection was screened. Students were encouraged to watch the documentary attentively, as it formed the basis for the quiz competition that followed. The on-the-spot quiz comprised 20 multiple-choice questions to be attempted within 20 minutes. 130 students participated in the quiz.
