A workshop titled “Curvy Cuts Tailoring” was organized by the Department of Home Science in collaboration with Vidushi Creations, Karnal on October 16, 2026.

Fifteen students of Fashion Designing & Fashion Technology participated. Ms Vidhi the resource person provided the students with practical knowledge of various cutting methods and garment construction. Techniques for making curved cuts, taking accurate measurements, cutting fabric, ensuring proper fit, and creating attractive designs were the main objectives of the workshop. The students had the opportunity to develop their sewing skills and identify employment and self-employment opportunities in the field of fashion designing.
