One day workshop was organized by the Department of Home Science on “Summer Dress” by Vidushi Creation, Karnal on June 25, 2026.

Around 15 students of Bachelor of Fashion Designing and B.Voc. Fashion Technology participated in the workshop. Ms. Vidhi the resource person shared her expertise on selecting suitable fabrics such as cotton, linen, and rayon, which provide comfort and breathability during the summer season. She also explained the importance of choosing appropriate colors, prints, silhouettes, and embellishments for creating attractive summer collections. During the session, Ms. Vidhi demonstrated the process of designing summer dresses, including fabric selection, pattern development, garment construction, and finishing techniques. In the end she highlighted the significance of combining creativity with functionality to meet customer preferences and current fashion trends.
