The Department of Geography organised an engaging Intra-departmental Demonstration on the Autumnal Equinox on September 22, 2026.

The activity helped students understand the astronomical significance of the equinox, the apparent movement of the Sun, and the role of the Earth’s axial tilt and revolution in the changing seasons. The demonstration provided students with an opportunity to connect classroom concepts with a real astronomical phenomenon, making learning more practical, interactive and experiential.
